Nominations for our annual literacy awards are now open!
These awards recognize two literacy leaders in our community:
- Our Literacy Champion Award recognizes a member of our community who has shown leadership and
commitment in the field of literacy and lifelong learning and who inspires others and, - Our Educator Distinction Award recognizes an educator who excels in meeting the needs of learners, creating safe and positive learning environments, fostering confidence, and has the best interests of their learners at heart.
The deadline to submit award nominations is October 8, 2025.
Awards will be presented at our annual Celebration of Learning on November 12, 2025.
Our Celebration of Learning is a free event that celebrates the success stories of learners, recognizes literacy champions in our community, and raises funds to support our literacy programs. Held at Florence Simmons Hall with a catered reception, exceptional entertainment and a heart-warming
awards ceremony, this is an event you won’t want to miss!
